20180930 Weekly Update

September is now at an end and we are fast approaching the end of the year. (Yikes!) For me, that means the deadline to release my revised second book is upon me and the need to wrap up the latest novel grows with each passing day. I am also trying my hand at InkTober and will tackle NaNoWriMo for the last time. This will be one decade since I took the bull by the horns and struggled my way to the finish line those many years ago. Ah, how time flies… 😊

I’m managing the daily Instagram postings and have recently posted my 11th IGTV short. The creation of videos has been a new experience and I’ve been enjoying the process of finding images, videos and music for the words I post. There is some editing that goes on as well but even that is an adventure in crafting the right words for the selected theme. I hope the videos are well-received and enjoyed by those who find them. Onwards!

My Insta-fave this time is a selfie. Sorry, I will never be comfortable in taking those. The message is always worth sharing. We are all more than meets the eye. May we all find people in life who will see and enjoy the complexities that make us who we are. Onwards! 😊

No one will ever see the you that is inside until you turn your hopes into a guiding light, your dreams into a high priority and your passion into a lifestyle. Onwards! +

My Facebook fave was a simple question that I find often answered in the same way on other forums. I always hope there is more attention to the success we find than the struggles.

Question: How are you? I’m stressed, overwhelmed but okay.

My Answer: We are all in the same boat. Just enjoy the ride. It might seem challenging while we are in it but a few years, we’ll look back and wonder what the big deal was. 🤠

Final personal note: My root canal was a success. (Yay!) and although I am drugged on a daily basis and working hard at a thankless job, I get to delve into fantastic worlds beyond imagination and explore alternate dimensions. It’s a good life.

I am wrapping up my edits to Ripples of Mind (at last!) and will send it out this week to my editor for the final go ahead. Once done, I intend to get all my current books set for Amazon Kindle and release them into the world while I wrap up book 5 throughout October. I should also call this “InkTober” since I will have a birthday to celebrate and a challenge to complete as the days progress. I am going to fill my time with work and intend to have the end of this year as complete as I can make it for my goals and path. For the foreseeable future, I intend to concentrate on being a creative, producing books, videos, blogs, Instagram posts and graphics. As of October 13th I will be entering the half-century of my life and don’t intend to let it slip away without giving it my all. I hope everyone had a great September and has a memorable October. Onwards! 😊
