20180923 Weekly Update

Another week has come and gone with maximum effort and just a bit less progress than I’d like. I have posted my daily Instagram pictures but missed the IGTV posting for the week. One of those planned items to do that fell to the devourer of progress known as Time. I will work diligently to get one out this coming week. I am enjoying these posts and look forward to the process every time.

I hope everyone else met their goals and continue to move forward in their endeavors in life. Some days just build up and hold you back, but as I’ve always believed: If you ever feel that the world may be against you, then you must be a truly mighty warrior in life. The world doesn’t conspire against just anybody. Take charge and show it who’s boss. Onwards! 😊

My Insta-fave this time is another one from the Zoo. I am hopeful to getting rest after the coming dental day waiting me this week. May we all have some rest and recovery time to make the days better. 😊

At the end of the day, when challenges have been overcome and obstacles have been conquered, the dreams of victory are even better together. Onwards! +

My Facebook fave post this week is a question that I’ve answered before. Sometimes I just can’t help but jump back into the cray of life answering the simplest of questions. 😊

Question: What languages do you speak?

My Answer: English, bad English, Spanish, Spanglish, Pig-Latin, Gibberish, Mumbling, Double-speak, Sub-text, Body Language and significant glances no one ever sees. Once in a blue moon, I think I can understand the opposite sex and manage open communication for a while but by the next moon-rise I’m back to being clueless. 🤠

Final personal note: The coming week will have a new twist to the challenges before me. I will have some dental work done that I am not looking forward to. Tooth pain surprised me last week since I had a checkup a couple of months ago with no issues other than finance. It was a surprise and shock to have sudden tooth pain come into my workday leaving me popping pain pills like tic-tacs before a hot date. It was even more of a shock when I got to the dentist a day later and was told one of my teeth had dying nerves that were none too happy to go quietly.  His recommendation? Yup. Root Canal. One of the most favorite topics of conversation no one wants to hear when discussing dental problems. I’ll be going in this week and will do my best to keep my mind off the coming battle within.  Onwards! 😊
