20181007 Weekly Update

Well, October is now in full swing for me. I’ve now gotten a week of InkTober done and am opening the floodgates to my inner worlds, words and wonder. I am in sprint mode, running a marathon. (Yikes!) 😊

For the most part, I am doing well. I’ve discovered that I still have not lost the visual excitement to tell stories, although I have definitely lost the old flair for technique that once came so easily. I’m having fun matching the daily prompts to my own imaginings as I add a few words to the process. My IGTV video did not go out on Friday but I hope to have it out by the end of tomorrow. (Ah, hope springs eternal, yes?) 🙂

The editing process has slowed to a crawl now that I’m tackling a few more daily tasks at once and I need to juggle my time accordingly. Video editing will be something to schedule every day, drawing will also take a part and editing will take priority as the week begins. I am venturing out into sightseeing territories for the week, capturing images for my Instagram, my memories and my peace of mind. It is always a regret to have lived in some places for many years but never taken the time to enjoy the surroundings and sceneries. This week will have several explorations in my agenda. Wish me luck. Onwards!

My Insta-fave this week is on good and bad days. We all have them and even as I go through some challenges, I do what I can to keep my path moving forward. Onwards! 😊

We must face the dark days the same as we do the bright ones, without fear and with unwavering hope… Together. Onwards! +

My Facebook fave is from a question placed in one of the InkTober FB groups I joined. So many people just answered the question with a simple “Draw!” comment that I could not help myself. In case you’re wondering, most of the objects referenced are the prompts for the challenge. Ah, the life of a creative… What a ride. 😊

Question: Post a random fact about yourself.

My Answer: I sometimes create entire stories in my head while waiting in traffic, the grocery store or coffee shop.

Final personal note: A few new challenges have been crossing my path this week and I am juggling like a madman. This final week of my forties is ramping up to be a challenging one but I will do all I can to accomplish every goal, meet every challenge and conclude the week in victory. Wish me luck. Onwards! 😊
