20180325 Weekly Update

As we enter the last week of March, I look forward to wrapping up my revision and move onto the lasts tome of mine.  The struggles of returning to a character’s life a few years before his latest struggles has been interesting to say the least.  I am eager to complete the process and return to the more recent timeline where little Tommy approaches adulthood with a clear destiny and a deeper understanding of the gifts he has been given.

I can only speculate as to what the readers of this series will think as we go from a childhood era of his life to one of high school and beyond.  The series is coming to a conclusion, soon after, although the journey may not end.  We shall see. 😊

I’ve joined another photo group and will attempt to keep a few images posted as often as I can. It is interesting to see how many people enjoy the pictures I post on a daily basis. I’ve been getting inspired to try and do the same thing with my newsletters and the return of my blogs so I can share my words, story progress and ideas as they come. Who knows, maybe I’ll also request help in deciding on the elements I use in illustrations, quotes and cover designs. We shall see in the coming months.

Instagram is always a favorite place to share my words and my captured images. The world at large is often a challenge for us all and I always strive to encourage myself and others by what I put out regularly. Hopefully, someday I will learn if this has been a success. Here is one of my recent joys shared on the platform:

Never fear the prospect of following your dreams. As long as your heart leads the way, a leap of faith can fly you to your destiny. Onwards! +

My Facebook activity is less constant as it was a few weeks ago, although with so many groups, I would hope there is enough content to keep me going.  Oh, well.  The more recent post I enjoyed is below.  I hope to interact with more of my fellow authors as I go.  Time will tell.

Question:  What inspired your current work in progress?

My answer: Bad days and poor decisions. There is no substitute for experience when you need a dark turn in your tales. 😊

A final personal note: The first quarter of the year is always the hardest. Many people try and give up on their resolutions, some struggle with employment (I feel your pain) and others struggle to maintain connections with friends and family. I hope we all maintain as many connections as possible, so we can overcome adversity, get through the hard times and celebrate all victories as one. The world is ours, after all. We should be willing to lend a hand once in a while and raise each other as we go. Onwards!
