20180318 Weekly Update

I hope everyone had a great Saint Patrick’s Day and enjoyed our annual green-themed holiday.  I continue to tickle the ivories every day and am working diligently to stay on track as holidays come and go, the first quarter of the year concludes and new paths are forged along our 2018 adventure.

There has been a few rainy days this last week and with it, sick days and manic traffic, turning normal people into panic-ridden spectacles on the road. (Look out!  Water is falling from the sky!)  😊

These next two weeks will be especially challenging as I put the finishing touches on the illustrations for Ripples of Mind and format both E-book and soft cover books for publication.  Those two processes are especially interesting as I do both on two different programs.  Scrivener for the E-book and MS Word for the soft cover.  As always, I am using PhotoShop for the graphics and cover art.  It is a great program that does all I need and more.

I may have missed a day this week on Instagram.  (or was that last week?) Sometimes, as I am selecting an image from my library and contemplating what words I can share, the sandman sneaks up on me and knocks me out for the night.  On the days I don’t sneak back in to get it done by morning, it means I’ve forgotten it didn’t get done until the following night.  It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, I always keep a look out so ole’ Sandy doesn’t do a repeat performance.

Every hope felt, every passion followed and every dream shared makes the world greater for us all. Live your journey and shape the world. Onwards! +

Facebook is always a fun platform to go on.  My latest enjoyment was answering the question below:

Question:  Anyone have a problem with overthinking as they write?

My answer: I don’t have a problem.  I overthink all the time.  I can quit whenever I want.  In fact, I’ll quit right now.  See?  I’m not overthinking at all.  I’m not.  Really! 😊

A final personal note:  I do my best to steer clear of the negative pushers out in the world.  Most are on television and some are online.  I always hope the vast majority of us learn not to follow that crowd, no matter how much pressure is put on us to do so.  Sharing what we love in this world is far more effective than attacking what is hated.  I look forward to finding more stories about selfless acts, helping hands and people coming together.  We are all in this world together.  It would help us all to understand the struggles faced every day by others so negative emotions don’t prevail.  May we all find hope and far more smiles as we journey in our life.  Onwards!
