20181014 Weekly Update

It has been a challenge to do IntTober every day and post my daily Instagram, but I’m working the time I have and pushing myself. Drawing has been a skill I’ve not worked in a number of years. How many, I can’t recall. Yikes! Regardless, I’m doing well, enjoying myself and still posting my words and pix every night. Deadlines are not being met as stringently as before, but I’m giving myself some wiggle room since I’m balancing more on my plate than usual. The IGTV vid finally got done, my monthly Vlog was posted and I’m fighting to conclude the last bits of work on editing Ripples of Mind.

Boy, do I need a vacation! Oh, yeah. Today concludes the vacation I took for my birthday. Oh well…

My Insta-fave this day is a selfie from yesterday. My birthday was a wonderful ending to a relaxing week intentionally spent away from work and used to explore the world outside, enjoy my time and discover some long-needed rest. May we all celebrate our birthdays with smiles, rest and excitement. Onwards! 😊

Look at every new day as a gift that will fill your heart, ignite your passion and make every moment a grand adventure. Onwards! +

My Facebook fave this week is a random fact request. I don’t often respond to such questions, but on occasion, I can’t help myself. 😊

Question: Post a random fact about yourself.

My Answer: I sometimes create entire stories in my head while waiting in traffic, the grocery store or coffee shop. 🤠

Final personal note: I had more happen in my birthday week than I thought possible. I hiked along Torrey Pines Natural Reserve, explored a famous cave and walked along Mount Soledad Memorial. These are the three that stand out in my mind, although I took a walk along seal beach, Lake Hodges and a few other sites as well.

I did have a few other incidents take place that I hadn’t expected to happen. Doctor visits, movie watching and a fair amount of stress. That’s just the price to pay when I take a week off from work for my birthday. Regardless, I enjoyed my time and hope to enjoy even more as the days go on. We need to have our own time in life. May each of us have a little piece of heaven to discover, enjoy and share. Onwards! 😊
